The entire team was very kind and responsive to our needs and very much helped us deal with our concerns. Especially grateful for Dr. Cole, Dr. Bradley and Dr. Liles. The entire Staff was very courteous and efficient in diagnosing Orry's condition. Dr Liles gave us the details of Orry's condition minutes after our arrival and also gave us the confidence that he will he taken care of throughout the night. I then got a call the next morning from Dr Bradley who updated me about Orry's condition and continued care plan. We met with Dr Cole and team later that day who gave us a comprehensive presentation of Orry's current condition and options for future treatment. In our moment of anxiety, Dr Cole and team gave us the confidence that, moving forward, Orry will be under the best of care and outlined, in detail, the options for Orry. We are very grateful.

We are grateful for each and every individual, from those at the front desk to Dr. De Armond to Johanna to the vet techs and supporting staff. Our dog's CCL tear was stressful for both him and us; but there was not an iota of added worry when it came to the quality of care he would receive. Keep up the attentive, compassionate, and efficient work!

Having a pet is a huge responsibility, and when emergencies happen, you want to know you have a trustworthy place to go. ACCESS Pasadena Specialty Animal Hospital has been that place for me. They’re open 24 hours a day, every single day, which is incredibly reassuring — especially when something happens late at night or on a holiday. The convenience of knowing your pet can get immediate, high-quality care at any hour is priceless. ACCESS offers almost every specialty service you could think of under one roof: • Emergency and critical care • Internal medicine • Surgery (routine to complex) • Cardiology • Neurology • Oncology • Advanced imaging and diagnostics • And a full team of specialists who handle cases most regular vets can’t This is why so many people come here — when your pet needs serious, advanced, or urgent care, this hospital has the team, the equipment, and the expertise to actually solve the problem. The staff and doctors are outstanding. You can tell they truly know their craft and care deeply about every animal that comes through the door. They explain everything clearly, stay calm in stressful situations, and treat both pets and owners with compassion and professionalism. Now, it is expensive — and that’s important to be realistic about. Specialty and emergency care anywhere will add up fast, and a facility of this level isn’t cheap. Honestly, having pet health insurance is a must if you want peace of mind. When the unexpected happens, insurance makes the difference between stress and relief, because the costs for advanced treatment can be significant. That said, ACCESS delivers top-tier, state-of-the-art care, and you’re paying for a level of skill, technology, and availability that few places offer. For anyone who wants the best possible outcome for their pet, especially in an emergency, ACCESS Pasadena is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended — this hospital is a lifesaver. 🐾

Our experience with ACCESS Pasadena and their Neurology/Neurosurgery department was excellent from start to finish. At a really scary time for our dog and family they took excellent care of us at each step from initial evaluation, follow-up, clear and fast communication, surgery, hospitalization, and post-op. Our experience with the Neurology team consisting of Dr. Tauro, Jessica, and Michael was fantastic. They listened to our concerns and spent so much time explaining options and caring for our dog. Dr. Tauro thoroughly went through medical vs. surgical treatment for our frenchie's IVDD. When we first elected for conservative management she followed up frequently via phone call every few days to ask how he was doing and helped adjust his regimen and answer questions extensively. When he was not progressing with medical management, we decided to further discuss and employ surgical management with Dr. Tauro. She was always caring and never pushed us in either direction - always letting us guide our dog's management with her expert opinion. Jessica was also in frequent communication with us and was kind and caring throughout each visit and virtual communication. The surgery went well and we received multiple update calls from the hospital about our dog over the nights he stayed in the hospital. Each step was very transparent with an open line of communication regarding procedures and costs along the way. Our overall experience with ACCESS Pasadena was excellent and we are so grateful for their genuine, efficient, and effective care for our baby. Our family highly recommends ACCESS Pasadena to any fellow pet owners who want the best support for their pet in a time of medical need.

I don’t know what miserable person gave this hospital a bad rating and almost made me believe they would be no good for care but let me tell you , they are very caring and a wonderful staff. My puppy was nearly dying and a wonderful Dr. saved her life and I’m super grateful for that. They cared for my Bell and I still have a bit of worry on the back of my mind of her health in the future but I have no concern that the staff didn’t do anything for her. They went above and beyond to care for her. She grew a bit of a belly ( a healthy belly ) . I learned lately that when you are kind to people that work hard , trust me they will be kind right back but sometimes when you come off aggressive or depends how you approach staff , they have the right to defend themselves and stand their ground because at the end of the day , their job is not easy. Give kindness and you shall receive kindness back. It doesn’t work with a one way story. I’m very satisfied with this hospital and you should not worry about a thing about them. I also learned they have visiting hours with you pet and that is wonderful. Thank you to all for caring for my baby Bell. May God bless each and one of you for success in life and the best .

I am so happy I brought my cat here. My cat started in the emergency department with an ultrasound that showed he had ureter stones— he ended up being moved to Internal Medicine and was hospitalized for two days. I couldn’t get anyone at other animal hospitals to see him right away since he was still urinating but he did have stones! And he already has other medical issues like CKD so I wanted to be cautious. ACCESS was amazing and we caught the stones before they got too advanced. Still managing at home but I have had the best experience with Dr. Qiu in the internal medicine department and all the incredible staff. You can tell they care so much and they have been the best guidance during this time! I also got refunded a lot of $ when they didn’t end up needing to do all the tests they originally quoted me for. They aren’t going to rip you off, they truly give you the best care. THANK YOU ACCESS! <3

Dr. Cole and his cardiology team could not have prepared us or taken better care of our Dexter. The level of knowledge, care & compassion that they extended to us is unmatched. We are so grateful to them for saving Dexter and extending his life. I do not recall the names of the team that were in the exam room with us or I would name each one individually. If not for them Dexter would not be with us now. They are an exemplary team. Truly amazing . I would recommend them 10000%

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ross and the entire team at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital. From the very first phone call, the level of professionalism, compassion, and genuine care we have received has been nothing short of incredible. Every concern we brought forward was met with patience, kindness, and thoughtful guidance, and it has made an overwhelming situation feel so much less scary. Our tiny rescue puppy, Tahoe, was recently diagnosed with severe pulmonary stenosis a life-threatening congenital heart condition requiring highly specialized surgery. As a rescue organization, cases like this are emotionally and financially devastating, but Dr. Ross and his team stepped in with extraordinary compassion. They took the time to thoroughly explain Tahoe’s condition and treatment plan. It is incredibly rare to find a specialty hospital that combines this level of medical expertise with such heartfelt generosity and humanity. You can truly feel how deeply this team cares about both their patients and the people advocating for them. We are endlessly grateful for Dr. Ross and everyone at ACCESS for standing beside us and fighting for Tahoe. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to animal welfare are something we will never forget. ❤️🐾

Our cat had a pleural effusion and needed an emergency procedure to drain the fluid. They saw her right away and were very kind and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. They did diagnostic tests and got the results back quickly. Our cat was well taken care of while she was there, and when we had to put her to sleep, everyone was thoughtful and supportive and gave her a peaceful end.

Everyone was great! From the very beginning of our interaction on the phone to leaving the facility with our sweet fur baby, was an amazing experience. They were upfront about the wait time. They are thorough. Exceptional communication. We were there all day but it was worth the wait. We knew our boy was taken care of. They even gave us a refund because they didn’t need as much mediation to inject him with. We never would’ve known!! Now that’s integrity! We don’t ever want to have to go back here for obvious reasons but it gives us peace of mind that it’s there.
